oro expeditions News

Things beyond our control had Oro Expeditions spending the summer in Quartzsite. You soon learn to get up before the crack of dawn, so anything that needs done is accomplished before 10 am. Though we occasionally braved the 100 plus temperatures in the afternoon to get a break from the air conditioner.
To escape the worst of the Dog Days of Summer heat, we traveled back to Maryland to handle some business there and visit family. We were pleased to learn the Maryland part of the family will be moving to south Texas, which will cut travel time to visit them in half. Plus, it's been a long time since we visited the Texas side of Gulf. It'll be nice to see it again.
One more winter in Quartzsite while we consider a full-time move to Nevada. Yes, we're considering moving back to where it's real winter, though they tell me it's a dry cold ... LOL. There are a lot of logistics to consider since we have 3 trailers, an RV, and would someone explain where all this 'stuff' came from.
Well, we did purchase the contents of an assay business, some of which we have for sale. If you know someone who needs a spectrometer, give them our contact information.
Ms Paula is doing better, and nearly back in top form. By springtime, everyone should be ready to hit the ground running.

Until then ... Be safe ... Be Blessed. May the bottom of your pan always be yellow. More later.

Goldfields is quirky, historical gold mining town we travel through reguarly going from northern Nevada to southwest Arizona.

I was sorting through the piles on my desk and credenza for what to keep and what to throw away when I found a hidden treasure. The summer  of 2015, we lived at Happy Camp, California, there was a group of film students working on a project. We, among others, were interviewed for their film. Here is the culmination of their hard work ... Lonely As God. Comment at the Contact Us page, or to [email protected]
