As a lot of our followers know, we bought an old gold and silver town in Nevada. Actually, it's a patented gold claim that was home to the town of Dun Glen/Chafey. Once we got most of the stuff moved north from Arizona, we were hoping to jump right into prospecting the best places to dig on our 99 acres.
Suddenly we're hit with the reality of of boondocking. It's getting access to water, setting up your power grid (we're still working on that one), and all the other niceties to go with it. We're starting to hit a groove as we settle in so that we can get back to the important things like looking for gold and cool relics from the early 20th century. Work also continues with Ms. Paula's doctors to get her back to 100%. Two weeks after receiving a pacemaker/defibrillator, we were moving everything from Quartzsite to Winnemucca, so recovery has been a little slower than we anticipated.
As we get the details of everyday living in place, we're going to be working to keep these pages updated, and get the Patreon page back up and running along with the YouTube channel.
Below are a few videos from a wildfire that came very close to the property. The Hotshots from BLM and the National Forest Service stayed nearby as the helicopters and planes dropped retardant and water to help us if the fire came over the ridge into camp.
Until then ... Be safe ... Be Blessed. May the bottom of your pan always be yellow. More later.

I was sorting through the piles on my desk and credenza for what to keep and what to throw away when I found a hidden treasure. The summer of 2015, we lived at Happy Camp, California, there was a group of film students working on a project. We, among others, were interviewed for their film. Here is the culmination of their hard work ... Lonely As God.
