After passing a quiet winter in Quartzsite, and by quiet I mean the crowds weren't as large nor the RV parks and BLM camping areas as full as last year. With the difference in the exchange rate between the US and Canadian dollar, and changes in regulations for visitors from other countries, there simply was not the hustle and bustle of past years.

We also had our moments of excitement. A quick trip to Colorado to help a friend move, our temporary neighbor hitting the slide-out on the toy hauler while backing up into his spot while intoxicated. Then as we were making a plan for the move North to Nevada, what I thought was an upper respiratory problem turned out to be a bout of Congestive Heart Failure. In amongst all that we did a bit of mining on the GPAA and New 49er gold claims in the area. Found some nice Arizona gold, and got our big dry washer all tuned up and running like a champ.

My brief stay hospital has set our time table back about a month, but without your health nothing else matters. Thanks to ASEA Redox supplement, and the good people at the La Paz Regional Medical Center, I'll soon be back to my old self.

Until then ... Be safe ... Be Blessed. May the bottom of your pan always contain yellow. More later.

Starting on my end of the year sorting through the piles on my desk and credenza for what to keep and what to throw routine, I found a hidden treasure. The summer  of 2015, we lived at Happy Camp, California, there was a group of film students working on a project. We, among others, were interviewed for their film. Here is the culmination of their hard work ... Lonely As God. Comment at the Contact Us page, or to [email protected]
